Trump can't defend his own record or hold his own in a debate with less people on the stage which equals more time for each candidate. If he went to the debate despite Megyn being a moderator it also could have worked to his favorite if it appeared that he was being attacked unfairly and he could have held his cool under the pressure. He made a poor, cry-baby decision not to go, 1st: because he tried to strong arm/blackmail FOX into donating money to charity as per Trump's dictate and it didn't work, and 2nd: he tried to dictate the business decisions of a company (FOX) he doesn't own and that made FOX dig in their heals about keeping Megyn in the moderator's chair and to send out that snarly, fake press release. Poor Donnie. Maybe he'll need to add a new chapter to his Art of the Deal book titled, What Not to Do.

That's not what Trump said in 2012. He called those who wouldn't debate cowards.

Ronald Reagan did indeed skip the last debate in Iowa but he did lose Iowa to Bush 41 even though he won the nomination.

Well Trump will probably win Iowa, not sure he's going to get the nomination though..

It wont be because he skipped a debate..

Trump seems to have a faulty memory, doesn't he. Maybe he's got a case of dementia brewing just underneath his thin skin.

I love this where we insist that the leader of the pack has to open themselves up to persecution right before the election! Trump is smart; there is nothing here for him. What happened to insisting that these moderators have to be fair and impartial to all of the candidates? Our media has moved a long ways away from unbiased reporting. Of course we have six companies that control 90% of the media in the US.

Trump made the right call and it is time for the media to be put back in their rightful place. I hope nobody watches the debate; it would server them right! Ratings are the only thing they understand!
