How is questioning someone about something they've said in the past an attack question? If Trump can't defend his past statements I guess he's doing the right thing by running away and hiding, eh?
Do you never change your mind about anything? Why not ask him about what he thinks now. I would hate to go back 50 years and defend what I said about something that I may not even remember. I used to be a Democrat and now I am a Republican. Smart people get more conservative as they get older or statistics say that.
Nothing they are attacking him about has any substance. And no I don't like all he stands for but I like that he is willing to at least try to stop the infiltration of criminals across our border. Several of the candidates say it can't be done which tells me they aren't even going to try to get rid of these criminals in this country. A criminal is anyone in this country illegally.
I don't know whether you noticed it or not but crime in America is out of control and instead of doing anything about it so we don't have to barricade our doors at night, this president has a war on the only people doing anything about it, the police. Criminal acts done by people working for the government are being ignored.
I don't care one bit whether Megan Kelly is offended by something Trump says. I want to be able to go to bed at night without being afraid someone will break in while we are sleeping. I want myself and my daughter and granddaughter to be able to go shopping and not be afraid someone will attack us in the parking lot. I want to go to a public meeting and not be afraid someone will come in shooting. Most of this criminal activity is cause by drugs which comes across the border. Just about every shooter was high on drugs when they did the shooting.

i'd have far more respect for you guys on issues like this if you held Clinton and Obama up to the statements they've made in the past..
Things like using private email servers being illegal, or passing ACA in order to drop premiums $2500 a year..
if you guys on the left held your own party responsible for the LIES they made about REAL issues that affect us, then possibly people might actually care that Trump has changed his standards about going to debates etc..
You covered the labor costs (though it will increase prison populations and the need for more rooms in prisons) but what about the supplies costs for the wall?
The Illegals are sending more money back home that it would cost to build 2 walls. As far as Prison go, build Temporary Prison Camps on the Border Line. If they escape, no big deal, since they can escape back across the border alive, or be shot escaping into the US.

Don't forget purchasing the land from the current land owners - forcing them to sell a strip of land via Eminent Domain. This usually takes years. Adding roads for the trucks and supplies to enter/exit.
Then surveying and engineering(years of work), grading for proper drainage, fill dirt and gravel and other materials for base so the footings will be able to handle the wall. Grading and compacting. Then the wall itself.
Then after the wall...monitoring of the wall to ensure nobody puts ropes or ladders over it for climbing, or tunnels below. Or damages it and puts holes in it. never ending costs for monitoring and maintenance.
Explain your title line. FOX isn't nervous or afraid. They got what they wanted i.e. Trump quit making demands and turned tail to go lick his wounds.
