Gotta say, I support Trump, but Pence's 'answer' on the religion question disturbs me.

I don't think so, LGBT is not a big issue to most voters. It's always the economy "stupid".

Kaine has a really bad night - he might get a spanking from Hillary. The Moderator couldn't control him at all, he had memorized his Talking Points and just kept saying them - over, and over, and over again.
I'm sure he was following orders, but he came off as an unlikeable Jerk. Perfect Hillary match.

I think that was the plan - channel Trump and wait for the inevitable squealing from his supporters who will never admit their own double-standard.

Seems to have worked.

Pence was distinguished, well informed, well spoken, and defended his beliefs and that of Trump more than adequately.
Kaine was irritated, rude, and looked like he drank too much. In the beginning he was slurping water or ? like it was going out of style.
Clearly, no contest. Pence won, handily, as a well informed gentleman, vs. the sloppy, red nosed, Kaine trying to remember his lines.

Actually Trump said, Mexico is not sending their best.. meaning their are many good Mexicans that are not coming here... then Trump proceeded with they are bringing drugs, they are bringing crime, some are criminals , some are rapists and some I assume are good people. I speak to the border guards and this is what they say we are getting.

Hillary also said marriage is between a man and a woman not too long ago.

That's where you're wrong. It *is* a popularity contest, and always has been.

Looks like Pence will be the Repulican nominee in 2020. looked calm and composed..

Kane did what he had to do. His job was to remind people who Trump is.

Yes, at one point, but this is 2016, where Clinton, Kaine, and the Party all support same sex marriage and a majority of the public.

Pence, Trump, and the Republicans do not
