Ben Shapiro of all people thinks that Bernie Sanders will win both the Democratic Primary and Presidency in 2020 (though as a hard right conservative, he admits he doesn't like the idea); he is smart enough to see what the people really want

Bernie is popular among Millennials, not of those older than 30. At least, the majority of them. And they are also the majority voting block. People at those ages work for everything they have and don't wanna see their money supporting others.

Not of those older than 30? I'm going to be 35 next month, I work for everything I have, and I support Bernie, and voted for him in the primary

1 person over the age of 30, I meant the majority of those voters. I have talked to people in the older than 30 group, and the vast majority of them disapproved of Sanders. So, one out of the millions in that group doesn't really have any meaning to me.

How many did you talk to? And I bet they are all conservatives just like you, right?

Actually, no. Bernie had a 62% approval rating of those 18-34, but just that group. And only a 52% approval rating with Whites. So, Whites older than 34, which is Generation X and the Baby Boomers, probably don't support him in near numbers that Millennials do. So, he might not win. And the fact that he is older than dirt.

And the polls that have him at a high approval are probably democrats that they asked. And I don't trust polls anymore after they said Trump had only a 1% chance of winning.

And given that the majority of Whites vote Republican, I could see Bernie losing.

56% of Democrats are white (myself included), remember that

56% of democrats are white, correct. But, check out these numbers:

2016 Election:

White Voters: 57% R 37% D

2012 Election:

White Voters: 59% R 39% D

2008 Election:

White Voters: 55% R 43% D

2004 Election:

White Voters: 58% R 41% D

2000 Election:

White Voters: 55% R 42% D

So, in all of the elections from 2000, on, Majority of white voters have voted Republican. And, the majority are probably older than 34. So, I wouldn't say Bernie has a good shot.
