Socialists, in Texas?
Apparently. Why would a self-proclaimed fiscal conservative proudly declare that she is a beneficiary of Medicare Advantage when this program is a prime example of a big government entitlement program that fiscal conservatives supposedly abhor? If teatime is a true fiscal conservative, she would reject Medicare Advantage and similar programs out of principle. Apparently, hypocrisy is a bottomless pit.

Hehe, Texas can count on this Californian moving to their state someday, it's not my fault that real estate prices are ridiculously low over there.

So, you would die just to prove a point? Because that's what you're advocating that I do. And you may hate me enough to wish me dead, but my family wants me around as long as possible.

I am grateful for Medicare and I almost did die in the waiting period for it. I have a serious, incurable disease and could not buy health insurance on my own because of it. Before calling people names, pal, and accusing them of things, you'd best consider that some folks have REAL LIFE DILEMMAS that transcend politics.

Bottom line, entitlement programs are bad unless they're good for you.

Your case illustrates the hypocrisy of some so-called fiscal conservatives.

Do you have any idea how awful that sounds? Kind of like Hitler paying the most Arian people to breed little Nazis. I can't imagine what weird fringe group you got this enlightening information from. I don't want to know.

OK, I'm a hypocrite because I want to live. There, happy? Of course, your posts make you look like an a&*hat. Whatever!

"Duh-duh-duh, another one on ignore! Duh-duh-duh, another one on ignore! And another one gone, another one gone... another one on ignore!"

(with apologies to Queen.)

Who made that estimate? I guess they forget the very fertile population of 20 million + Hispanics. Someday they are gonna vote! Why do you think California- the state that gave us Nixon and Reagan- turned blue??

When a Democrat moves into Georgia, the IQ of the state goes up by several points!

So I take it you are admitting that liberal entitlement programs saved your life, while fiscal conservatism would have killed you.

Thanks for being so honest, though I had to pry that one out of you.
