Hardly a notable mistake though, when up in front of the nation for an hour and a half something like this is irrelevant.
Yeah, I heard it too. I wouldn't make too much of it though - she simply misspoke. . Now, the fact that she refused to actually ANSWER many of the questions? Well that's another matter entirely.
I'm not a Palin/McCain fan.
She didn't technically say it started on Main Street. She did say what happened on Main Street affected Wall Street. Her statements there definitely weren't worded eloquently but I kinda understood what she was getting at. I didn't feel it was overall a huge mistake. However I do feel she doesn't have a huge understanding of this mess that we are in. And I wish she was able to answer those questions better especially since this is the crisis we are currently facing.
it did start actually on main street with the liar loan applications, then worked its way up to the banks not checking and or being greedy, and then wall street with no regulation, and then government being so heavily invested in wall street. i thought that she was excellent in that debate segment.
I think it started on Wall St myself and the middle class suffers the results of it.
The morons who bought homes they couldn't afford is a big part of the problem. The poor bastards deserve to be foreclosed.
