They most certainly do. To state that they don't is simply blind ignorance. Background investigation is one of their most common functions. I've passed an FBI background investigation.
Kooter just doesn't get it. No matter what we say, he will continue on with his rants. Just ignore him and he will finally go away after being bored out of his mind.
I repped you for this post, too bad more people won't listen.
Actually, I feel for Kooter. I nearly drove myself insane when Bush was elected twice, and I know that I stayed on blogs and forums spouting off about things that I couldn't believe were not obvious to other people. My blood pressure spiked, and it effected my sleep and my ability to even work. I am doing better during this election--trying to be calm and look at both sides objectively. It helps a great deal that my candidate is ahead. I might be just like Kooter if he were behind. Relax, Kooter. Life is too short, and it will not be the end of the USA if Obama is elected--just like it wasn't when Bush was elected--although it was close, in my opinion.

What you fail to comprehend is that the FBI does not check the candidates qualifications. The FBI has not gotten involved in this matter. Can they? Most certainly they can! But they have not.
Google the topic ("Judge Surrick received decision") and you will see numerous sites have picked up on it. The decision should come from the judge himself, not from someone else via facsimile!!!
The troubling issues surrounding Obama just never stop!
