Valeria walking around her neighborhood. I remember walking around Russian parks in the winter. It was beautiful especially at night. Speaking for myself winter is a great time to go to Russia. Mind you it's very inconvenient.
You got it, Erasure! You know your city - the same building as in MF's pics.
I know Chechens/Dags and places where they currently congregate en mass.
( And that would be Moscow, unfortunately so.)
Last time I was there few years ago, I saw how many Asians/Caucasians were there; for the first time I've heard the languages on the streets on Moscow I've NEVER HEARD before.
There was NOTHING like this back in Soviet times, when Russia was subsidizing the economy of all these republics, and people were staying put there.
P.S. Truth to be told, the Asian name of a place, yet clearly non-Asian background of the city was a bit confusing to begin with, but I looked closer and recognized Moscow pretty fast.
"This is Moscow, Bolotnaya embankment, street, house, well, you will find a house.Photo on the background of fashion and I understand a very expensive clothing store from Alexei Davlatov. Very easy to find on the sign. P. S. it is very strange that specialists of everything, especially in the field of public administration, politics, science and production (all together), could not cope with such an easy task.(((

They, actually did, pretty fast - see Erasure's posts.
The rest of us, who did not, are not specialists in the above fields.
Thanks to all. Erasure is right in everything. This is Moscow and they are bad guys (they tried to rape a girl, beat a policeman, were detained by the police), but it doesn’t matter. I was very surprised by this photo from the news, because I could not determine the country. It is usually fairly easy to determine if it is not an art photo. In this case, this is a usually bad-photo with a bunch of details, but I could not find something that could indicate country/city. It's seems that Moscow is becoming standard world's city.
