Polish culture on another hand is socially conservative as in Russia and other Eastern European countries. None of them want influx of migrants from Asia and Africa.
Lukashenko simply exposed this internal conflict in revenge for Polish attempt to unseat him and to take over Belorussia.
And I suspect that he won't stop there.
Poland doesn’t need Belarus. They have enough problems of their own.

Bwahaha.
Google "Intermarium" in wikipedia pls.
Polish politicians always wanted more clout in Europe, and additional territories would be nice to have for that.
For the US this extended and united anti- Russian zone ( Ukraine Belorussia Poland and Baltic states )would be dream come true.

Uh oh...
They just reported on 60 minutes that Merkel talked directly with Lukashenko and the prime minister of Estonia is saying that it's not only official recognition of him as a head of the country but he demanded the removal of sanctions as well.
So as I've said before -
- plot thickens)))
Meanwhile Ukraine demands more money more help and anti-Russian military involvement from Great Britain.
So fun-fun-fun)))

Of course not. Belarus is a relic from the Cold War.

Of course no one needed this "relic".
As much as no one needed yet another relic from the Cold War called "Crimea."

Exactly. Ask how many Asian democracies are particularly welcoming with respect to immigration.

Looks like Luka's plan has backfired and turned on him.

I don't see how it "backfired" on Luka.
These migrants were already used to expose the internal EU conflict (New Europe VS Old one.)
Now they can go home if they had enough of torture.
Plus of course this whole event forced Merkel to talk directly to Luka, and not to Putin since he referred her to Lukashenko in their previous telephone convo.

I wonder where you get this BS from ? Been reading Mein Kampf lately ? You are completly clueless about the situation. NY is nowhere near those places.

Besides, we are talking about a couple of thousand people.

What does this have to do with anything? Right, nothing.
