I would like to know at what temperature all of you feel comfortable wearing sleeveless Clothing :
  1. At home
  2. While going Outside (Work, Attending Classes, Shopping, Eating out at a Restaurant, Ect. )
  3. While working out
My Answers:
  1. At home: I switch over to sleeveless T-shirts as soon as the temperature touches 76 F (25 C)
  2. Outside: I am a guy. Hence, I try to hold off as much as possible. However, anything above 95 F (36 C) compels me to wear sleeveless T-shirts or suffer from the consequences of heat rash .
  3. Working Out: Around 71 F (21 C)

I'll bet you don't live in the humid, hot, south. We, male and female, go sleeveless when we want to, regardless of the little line on the thermometer.

It has to be fairly warm for me, over 80 degrees outside.

Working out? That is a different story. The outside temp doesn't matter, because it will be hot once the workout starts. It can be a blizzard outside and I will still wear sleeveless to workout.

My workout is pretty much set if there is a blizzard. Shovel snow . I sure as heck won't be wearing sleeveless in such frigid conditions .

Additionally, working out includes outside activities like running and outdoor sports. Taking that into account, what would be your ideal condition.

1) 80 degrees
2) same
3) N/A

I don't feel comfortable in sleeveless clothing generally, because of the condition of my upper arms,
but when it's too hot for anything more concealing (such as a t-shirt), then I give in and wear a tank top.

Yeah Right . I went to Atlanta this June, and did not see a single guy wear sleeveless T-shirt. I observed the same thing when I visited George Washington National Forest, VA last August. The only states I have seen several men wear sleeveless are Florida and Arizona.

Additionally, most people only wear sleeveless in the summer. I went to Dallas in December. It was a pleasant and sunny 59 F, and I was the only person wearing a T-Shirt. People asked me whether I was feeling cold .

I live in Rhode Island. I wear t-shirts year-round. If it's cold, I wear a jacket. If it's hot, I don't. That's about it.

I do not do any outdoor sports, NEVER run (unless chansed by something scary). If it is snowing outside I certainly am not going to voluntarily go out in it I don't even walk my dogs if it is colder than 60

When I think working out, I think of driving to a nice warm gym to do so in. That is why sleeveless works any time of the year for me.
