I don't think that ALL Speedo wearers are swimmers or lifeguards...some of them are gym narcissists who primp and wax all year in anticipation of the summer season. Going to an urban beach in either LA or MIA will lend credence to that.

Yep, it's what we're used to seeing.
Don't particularly wanna see old fat men in speedos but I respect their right to wear whatever they want, as long as they wear something. I've been to nude beaches though and after awhile it becomes a non-issue. Don't like the perves there though (men are not safe from them).
i dont wear speedos or any other type of swimwear since i dont go swimming but id like to think that since years ago women screamed at men for objectifying them that they would kindly return the favor and quit doing it to us men. You dont want us thinking youre a s**t for wearing a mini skirt so please dont start thinking we're gay or something for wearing a speedo or whatever else.
And yes Julia, there are plenty of people out there with anger management issues. You see a guy walk by in a pair of shorts or something you dislike and start laughing hysterically, whistling, and yelling "we wear short shorts!!!" it just may invoke a reaction that you or anyone else doesnt really want.
