Very Very true!!! I've done tanning beds for 25+ yrs...and just learned about the SAD thing a couple of yrs ago. The winters that i dont tan, i seriously get depressed...and if i can force myself out into the cold, snow, dreary days and tan, i feel much much better. it really helps and i've had no untoward effects from the beds.

I dont tan, I just burn so I want to get away from the Florida sun, my pale skin will thank me! As for cold, if I can earn enough to visit Oil city in April, I will get a taste of some cold and maybe snow if im lucky.

Nah, if you go there in April, it will more then likely be springtime there. We're even warming up and getting ready for spring here. Oil City just had a bit of cold and snow this past week, but by April it should be getting nicer there. If you want to get a real winter feel in an area, January is normally the best month to visit.

LOL, you are all quite welcome to come up here to Illinois and freeze your butts off with me! I am SO sick of the cold winters and this past winter was the icing on the cake! We had an ice storm right before Christmas that caused our power to go out which caused our basement to flood which then ruined the furnace, so we froze for 5 days while waiting for someone to come out and get us. It sucked!!!
Then we had a huge blizzard last month and I had to shovel us out because even the snow plows couldnt get through..
Florida, Here I come, LOL!
