IMHO, 8 of 10 who take the anti-HCQ side are Dems. The other 2 in 10 are Ind/Pub who are taking the cautious "hey, lets wait to see what the clinicals say" approach.

I think even though we don't have at least 2 large, peer-reviewed clinical trial results yet, proving effectiveness, we are beyond the "anecdotal" stage.

The media is bent on pushing a few bogus studies out that say HCQ doesn't work, so they can place some level of doubt in the low info voters minds. Just more MSM propaganda.

There are very few here who have heavy scientific, or medical, backgrounds that object to Trump's optimism for scientific reasons. Even the MD here got the meds (never said if they took them).

Be ready...when the clinicals come out, they'll say the Trump Drugs are "partially effective" & no Silver Bullet (which we already know), but the left will act like they won the lottery.

Then, will come the debate on how effective are they, and how many lives did they save.

First, it's "you're".

Second, it's not about hate, it's about understanding he's not fit to serve as President of the United States. I saw that very early on in his debates when he was unable to intelligently form coherent sentences and reverted to name-calling. Which, to date, is still his go-to when he gets flustered, which is literally every day now when he's not reading from his teleprompter.

In terms of the drug, as I've stated again and again, it's not about the drug which is proving to be as effective as a sugar pill, it's about Trump desperately hanging onto the only selling point to his re-election: the economy and the stock market. This is the only reason why he's pushing this drug now because he and his administration realize they don't have time to wait for a real, legitimate therapeutic or vaccine, they need to something......anything......to wave in the air to say 'Hey look, we have a cure that works! Everyone calm down and continue to spend money'. It's also the reason why he's desperately pushing for the U.S. to re-open. He does not care about helping or healing anyone, his one and only motivation, which it's always been, is A#1....himself and his re-election.

I'm an American and as patriotic as anyone, I want the best for this country. Unfortunately with him as POTUS we're not heading in the right direction. He's already proven again and again he doesn't have the country in his best interest.

Well said. And something the haters have to understand is he did not just come up with this on his own out of the clear blue sky. He did not wing it. He was educated on what treatments were showing positive signs. He just decided to let people know there is hope. He could have kept it quiet, but he decided to let people know there are things that are being worked on and some show promise. I really don't understand why people are so upset that he was upfront and honest about this. Now before the haters pile on me, I did not and will never vote for Trump. That is based on the fact that I do not care for him as a person, however I have to give him props for his policies and how much they have helped this situation compared to the awful estimates from the beginning.
