Maybe you should invest in solar energy.

Everyone knows solar is the future and maybe you can sell some excess power to your neighbors.

These are your role models? You want these people to have control?

This has nothing to do with the price of electricity in Florida, but everything to do with the elimination of fossil fuels to generate electricity.

The petition is part of a political group trying to stop fossil fuels being used to provide energy in the US, regardless of the cost. It is not even based in Florida but is a Washington DC-based lobbying group. They are anti-business and argue that corporations are bad.

"We protect people from the corporations and other destructive economic interests.

Organization Mission: "Our food, water and climate are under constant assault by corporations who put profit over the survival of humanity. They have seized control of the very institutions that were built to protect us. "

Food & Water Watch is a political action group focused on the elimination of oil and gas. It endorses and funds political candidates that support their goals.

"Food & Water Action is endorsing 17 candidates in New Jersey Senate and Assembly races, supporting candidates who will advance a progressive agenda on an array of issues"

They are in partnership with unions.

"FWW is a union employer. Union positions are covered under a contract between Food & Water Watch and the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU)."

The only "role models" I will follow are those that will act to decrease electric bills in Florida. I don't care if they are leftist, rightist, unionist, anti-unionist, etc. Whoever acts to reduce electric bills or to pass a tax credit to offset electric bill costs.

It's basically the equivalent to that "Just Stop Oil" BS going on in England with idiots blocking roads and whatnot. Certainly not a group I'd want to be affiliated with.

Record-high requests for electric bill assistance in Tampa Bay

https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/lo...8-cfabd00cf4be

Exorbitant auto insurance prices
Exorbitant property insurance prices
exorbitant ELECTRIC BILLS due to the unrelenting heat and runaway utility company rate hikes!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone in elected office going to STAND UP FOR THE FLORIDA CONSUMER?????????????

Apparently the only ones who are going to stand up for the Florida consumer are leftist anti-fossil fuel "hillbillies"
