I don't know if I would use the peanut butter! It may create a worse problem!

Some of the sites I am looking at reccomend heat - like a blow dryer or even a deep heating rub. But these are all for carpet or clothes - none mention furniture. I will keep looking!

I have put freezer blocks on it and some has scraped off but the main lump (eugh) isn't budging.

It's a kind of wide cord fabric, beige.

Any ideas? Waaaah!
Oh, Dear Southdown, I totally feel your pain... Ok, well, I was a teacher and one of my students put gum on a seat in my classroom and I got gum on my pants. Somebody told me to us GAS to get it out... I only needed to use a little but... GASOLINE... it breaks the gum down...but since it is the sofa...I don't know what to tell you... Gas is flamable. But it breaks down gum..... Kids really do a doosey on stuff....

Thanks for all the suggestions... I have been freezing and scraping - leaving a bald patch on the cushion!

Going to try another way next....

That was a fun dinner-time - not

Having had that operation I'm guessing it'll be a day or two maybe more before we'll hear anything. I know for the 1st 12 hours or so it was fine due to pain meds and a nerve block but after that I couldn't even move my arm much less type.
Very painful surgery, I wouldn't wish it on an enemy... I hope nomore is having better luck and less pain than I did!!!
BTW, hamburgers and fries tonight, gotta use the bbq before rain/snow hit.

Elston - no worries - have no idea how that gum got there on back of his t-shirt, we can only guess he sat in it on the bus...

When he came home from school, he just sat on the sofa for ten mins, got up and realised something was sticking him to the sofa!

As far as NMS she only went in at 11:45-I doubt she's out of recovery yet. give her a few days and Karlaw/aK is supposed to let us all know. I can't fathom her pain.

Ice/peanut butter on gum-what a mess makes me glad mine are in their 30's.

Baked sweet and green beans were so great I hardly ate the pork.

Night all and prayers to my friend NMS.
