As long as it tastes good Kat....guess you could just not look while you dip!

I need some help here...I read way back about someone who made swiss steak, I think it was swiss steak, and they said they just put onions, tomatoe and bell peppers over it and cooked it on the stove. Now I "think" that's what they said. I was considering making this for tomorrow night but I was going to use cubed steak. Any suggestions here or does anyone remember that particular post? My wonderful neighbors brought more tomatoes over and they need to be used up plus I have some cubed steaks in the freezer. So I figured this just might work but now I can't seem to find that post!

That sounds great to me right about now.

Bienvenidos Senorita Charlene!! Me encanta Malaga! I studied there back in 2000 and loved it. Do you know if the restaurant La Posada is still there?

Anyways, enjoy. I am having some wine tonight for sure too. It has been a helluva day

Dinner tonight will be a lovely Red Snapper, cooked in the new way I have been hearing about "on one side" The food blog "Bitten" discussed it recently. Essentially, you put the fish (1" or so, firm fish) in a hot pan with olive oil. Cook til brown on one side only and then pop in a 400degree oven for 8 min. Will serve it with Quinoa salad and some nice fresh broccoli. Somebody PLEASE tell me to refrain from making Hollandaise LOL..too fattening! But boy, would it be yummy!

Cyn I googled also and seems you can use cubed steak. Flour lightly w/seasoned flour, brown in pan, top with sliced onions, can diced tomatoes and some chopped bell pepper. Cover and simmer til tender.

Ok, ya'll! I am so happy! The tests came back from the biopsy on my Mom! NO CANCER!!!!! NO CANCER!!! NO CANCER!!!!! Thank you all for your care and concern! I appreciate it more than you will know! Now, all that's left for them to do with Mama is to wait 3 months and do another scan checking on the "hotspot" showing in her lung. They put the camera down there and everything, but could not biopsy it because of some veins or some such. But at least we know the "hotspot" showing in her neck is not cancer!

Praise the Lord!
