NMS get well soon. Simple as that. My mother had the same op you are going to have and in no time she was as ornery as ever.

If it's chocolate what can be bad.

Jessie so sorry thought you saw Crazy's recipe-it is awesome.

Dinner out was pretty good-after all I didn't have to cook or clean up.

Well, in preparation of NMS' surgery tomorrow and thinking about her, I went and had a cheesecake brownie this afternoon!

Ha! And then for dinner.........I did everything I shouldn't have done. Big time!

I made chicken cutlets parmesan, spanish style. That means they got seasoned with that Complete Seasoning thing, breaded with seasoned italian breadcrumbs, fried, THEN they got mozzarella cheese and a bottle of roasted garlic TOMATO spaghetti sauce and in the oven for 25 minutes. Also made curly "blended" pasta with more spaghetti sauce.

I must say it all came out pretty good. We'll see later when I try going to sleep how much I regret it.

Will be thinking of you NMS! Be a good girl OK?

NMS, Good luck with the surgery, You will be in my prayers tonight! Like others have said, be sure to Take It Easy!!

vpcats, that sounds so good.

I made pork chops, stuffing (out of the box... I haven't grown up into the homemade!), and peas. Simple, and it tasted good!

FYI - I won't be around for a while - having surgery on my rotator cuff tomorrow, so I'll be a bit "out of it" for a while. But, don't worry, as soon as I feel back to "normal" (whatever that is!), I'll be back.

In the meantime, Happy eats, all.
Relax and rest and let the docs take care of the worrying - that's what they get paid for.

And make sure you demand plenty of attention from your dear carer - remember you need lots of goodies to be served at your beck and call in order to make a speedy recovery!

See you soon!!!

NMS - Well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery! I agree also that you need to be waited on hand and foot until you decide it is not needed anymore!

OK, Ya'll have been talking about "mojo" this and "mojo" that and I had no idea what in the world you meant. Well now, went to the grocery store and looked at the goya stuff because I remembered someone talking about a marinade involving bitter oranges or some such. Imagine my surprise when I saw a bottle of MoJo! So THAT is what it is! LOL I was starting to think "Austin Powers Mojo" LOL and thinking....well, maybe I have mojo too???? LOL

Anyhow, this IS the mojo ya'll were talking about, right? ( I certainly hope so, or I really am a big doofus)!!
