My husband used to forget to eat all the time. In his younger days he drank coffee and smoked cigarettes. He hardly ate any food. He thought food was only for fuel. Me I love love food. I think about it all the time. It's an obsession.

Well guess what? I changed him. Now he loves my cooking so much that he doesn't see the need to go to a restaurant. What a great job I did. Be careful what you ask for, right? He is really a good man but I would starve if it was up to him to feed us, lol.

It is nice to have a chef boyfriend . He got the degree, but isn't using it, which means he's not burnt out on cooking by the time he gets home from work. I like to cook, though, and I really like when we have time to cook together. We both like trying new recipes...and I talked him into buying me a wok at Bed, Bath & Beyond...muahaha.

If Mr. L cooked I would have scrambled eggs, canned tomato soup, maybe grilled cheese. Same here YL about going out-we rarely do and when we do it's more for the company than the food.

Skbs - You are so right. I lived in the Binghamton area for 16 years. That was 30 years ago???? (I'm getting old) Anyway...now in Louisiana and if it gets below 50 I'm freezing. It was 29 this morning. I had ice on my windshield for Goodness sakes. What is up with that?

I'm home from a trip to the market... Have a beef roast, 2 rib eye steaks, a package of bones country style ribs, and a center cut ham steak. I'm still clueless...Most likely will order in pizza if wife has to work late. I think she will be on time tonight so maybe the rib eyes...with some oven roasted potatoes..
