Here right off the Rocky Mountain Front in Montana and being in close proximity to several Hutterite colonies, We are roasting a very nice Hutterite chicken and we will side that with a dish of some sort of beans and some garlic toast.

Morning all, tonight we are having bbq chicken in crockpot, with mashed potatoes and ranch bread (hopefully). I have been playing with my bread machine lately and just making dough in it, then baking in the oven. So good.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Nothing like homemade bread-my s-i-l makes the best breads!!!

Tonight leftover blackbean chili, cornbread, rice.

Manager of our local pub was telling us last night that cost of chicken went up $15 a case not counting double fuel surcharges on every delivery. Imagine what we could see with beef as ranchers in OK - in a drought-are paying $1,000's to feed their cattle.

Oh don't tell me that. Chicken is all my hubby eats. Ugh. You would think that maybe if the price of feed went up so much that maybe they would put more product on the market so they don't have to feed as many? Oh well. Looks like we may be becoming more vegetarian a whole lot sooner.

Hi all!

Oh Breeze! Spaghetti sounds sooooo good! DH won't eat it though lol.....he doesn't like "stringy" pasta...he's so weird lol!

I have no idea what we're doing tonight - DD is getting ready to go to Florida to visit my parents (sob) - this is the first time she'll ever be away from us this long (14 yrs old) nevermind traveling on a plane alone! My nerves are shot. LOL She's flying out on Spirit Air and they're unaccompanied minors policy is ridiculous.....they consider anyone 11 - 16 to be a "young adult" and not in need of escort. RIDICULOUS! So - I have to go to the ticket counter and see if they will give me a gate pass so I can at least be with her till she gets on the plane.....I'm mean...once she's on the plane she's not going anywhere lol. Hopefully they won't give me any grief about it or I'll have to bring the JOISY GIRL out in me.

So - who knows whats for dinner lol.

Nic they do allow one parent to go to the gate. We had same situation when our g-son visited a couple of years ago.

Rest easy-all will be fine.

Tonight and tomorrow night are leftover/your on your own for dinner, since I will be busy getting everything ready for our trip to Texas for my surgery. Then I'll have awhile where I won't have to cook.
