Happy b'day, Debsi. It's my in-laws' 64th wedding anniversary today.

Someone mentioned goulash on here the other day - Lacey, was that you?? Anyway, it's your fault we went to Publix to get hamburger for our goulash tonight! LOL

Remember the events of 7 years ago, but don't forget to go on with life. Don't let the b**stards think they won.

I grew up in Queens, NY. My mom used to walk me to the bus stop, which was 3 blocks away for kindergarten. After kindergarten I was an "older kid". The older kids wouldn't get bussed unless they lived more than 2 miles from the school. We were just 1 block shy of the 2 mile limit, so I walked almost 4 miles/day round trip every school day, even in the bitter cold wind and snow. It didn't cause us any harm.

Last night DH had leftovers of that chicken caccitore type dish I made in the crockpot, while I had scallops. I have no idea what we're doing yet tonight.

Elston - Sorry your dinner did not turn out well. At least you got DP into the kitchen again.

Did it work well - the Pank Pollock - any tips?

It's been hailed by some chefs as a good replacement for Atlanitic cod, which is overfished ... I think it's good that the chefs are doing a bit of PR for the poor old cod, not sure if the pollocks would agree tho .

Well, I had my appt today and the doctor doesn't want to deal with me so he has transferred me to a different doctor. My appt with this one will be next week.

This doctor said that I will have to have another surgery or be on crutches with a knee imobilizer the rest of my life. Now if only I can find a doctor who is willing to help me without having to fly out of state again (can't afford that now since I'm on disability.)

Happy Birthday Debsi.

If hubby goes to store early today then it'll be beef stroganoff. If he doesn't will just have steak and mashed potatoes.
