ERRRGH!
Hubby just called and has a problem to fix at work. He has to drive into Venice Beach traffic hour. It is not a freeway as they call it. It is more like a parking lot! That is alright I will pass time by on CD.
I just drank my lunch shake and am HUNGRY. I read about Elstons dinner all these yummy breads and sadwiches and to top it off mentioning cold beer and coktails. The Kahlua ice cream pie might just be the death of me
SKBS a party amongst this thread? Ohhh at least we know it would be "GOOD EATS" haha mmm mmmm mmm
Elston, Taylor Pork Roll/Taylor Ham (the names are interchangeable) seem to be a New Jersey thing. I used to make a run every few weeks to NJ for the pork roll and to NYC for the bagels. At least what I was doing was legal. I can honestly say I was a "runner".

If you really start 'Jonesing' do a search, there are a few entrepreneurs out there who've made a cottage industry of supplying Taylor Ham to NJ emigres

I just knew when you pictured Taylor Ham & egg the roll would have to make an appearance in that vision

Surprising, you'd think it'd be a natural if they served sandwiches, particularly breakfast ones.

Spanish pork? I'm jealous, I usually make do with regular ol' deli roast pork. I've taken to crushing a clove of garlic and mixing it with a little olive oil into the mustard, goes good with the pork & ham
