Broccoli leaves (from the summer garden) - that's the really healthy part and hopefully will make up for.... Tonight I will be bad. Home-made potato wedges and a fried pork chop.

I love seeing what people from other parts of the country eat. We are getting - probably 10 or more inches of snow today so dinner will likely be mid-afternoon. I have 4 boneless pork chops and will look for an interesting recipe to bake them in the oven. I may bake 2 and save 2, to make a pork stirfry later in the week.

Thinking with this fresh snow we should get the Xcountry skis out of the attic and at least take a jaunt around the block before the road gets sanded. Right now it's about 8 degrees but it may get up a bit later.

Salt crusted baked potatoes, covered with leftover chili. Love making baked potatoes for dinner. Hot, easy, cheap, and warms the house up with no real cooking.
