will put them in the slow cooker for a few hours and then finish on the grill

I may pick some more up today

they also had boneless chuck roasts for 2.99lb for choice grade.... and chuck eye delmonicos for 3.69lb
I should stock up the freezer..now is the time to buy!!

this is at a local supermarket - thank god they price things low for the poor working folks....you don't see this at whole foods

Grilling up lamb shawarma tonight. I made a batch of tzatziki last night to go with it in the Syrian bread. I'll make corn on the cob and a rice pilaf for sides to choose from.

It's cold here. Does not feel a bit like Spring.

So I Googled Spring Soups and I found a bunch of them!

Making a Creamy asparagus, potato and leek soup. My husband went to the German bakery this morning and picked up Alpenlieb (a German sourdough rye bread that we both love) and a desert at a delicious Strudel filled with cherries and poppy seeds.

Thinking about a good beer to have with this. Taking suggestions. Anyone?

Husband is having a 402 (Mongolian Beef), and I'm having a small 605 (Beef and Broccoli) . Got a coupon for 2 free egg rolls, and I ordered a bag of Almond Cookies.

I'll be eating it in approximately 20 minutes and that makes me e
xtraordinarily happy.
