We've been eating restaurant food for 5 days now. Tonight we'll be home with a nice pot of American chop suey.

Risotto with mushrooms, thin boneless pork chops, salad, tiny cinnamon rolls (the best use of left over mashed potatoes)

sockeye salmon and collard greens. It was going to be asparagus but I just had to mix it up a little.

Remember that big pot of chili I made last night? Well it's always better the next day. This time I'm serving it over baked potatoes.

A nice big pot of escarole with beans and sausage with a loaf of crusty ciabatta bread.


and since I'll probably get snowed in again tomorrow, I'm washing that down with a few glasses of red wine
