OK, I'm going to jump the gun here and report out for tomorrow night because I won't be able to get on CD tomorrow.
We've got company coming from North Idaho for the weekend, and they are huge mussel fans. We live just a few miles north of Penn Cove Mussel Farms (makes me SO happy!). So - picking up a few pounds of mussels tomorrow and some really good crusty bread.

Cold shrimp with a red wine vinaigrette to dip it in. Not sure about husband. He went to the store today (I waited in the parking lot) so I'm not sure what he did!
I have been busy today so we just stopped and picked up a pizza on our way home.Definitely a beer with it .Have some Hazelnut chocolate and that will be dessert.
Pork chops and applesauce. Mr C bought a microwaveable baked potato as well as a sweet potato. We split having 1/2 of each and a very small glass of Moscato wine. The wine for me, anyways.
Dessert was a scoop of the Breyers choc hazlenut gelato.
