Corned beef, cabbage, onions and potatoes cooked in beer in my crockpot. I Turned it on at 7 am this morning and when I got home from work at 3:30 it was all done. House smells great. I also have Irish soda bread.

We had an awesome lunch at Wild Wings....a bacon basil blue cheese burger, and a Philly Cheese steak sandwich, so we aren't thinking much about supper. Maybe some warmed up American Chop Suey later, or a bowl of cereal.

Lasagne with a salad - plus a good baguette from a local bakery. Lasagne is heavy on the noodles - lighter on meat and sauce

I fried a chicken, mashed some potatoes, green beans, stirred up a skillet of white gravy, and made a pan of biscuits. All at the special request of my only grandson.
