We’ll be downtown in the late afternoon so I think I’ll suggest Carrabbas for dinner. If not, I’ll make the pasta with grilled salmon and kale from a recent Publix recipe.
I got some beautiful globe artichokes on sale for 99 cents each at the Mediterranean market this morning, along with some gorgeous tiny Persian cucumbers and some flat breads.
Tonight I will poach a chicken breast (some will get set aside for the cats ), and serve it with the flat bread and a platter of olive, onion and cucumber slices, lettuce, and lebna.
I'll steam the artichokes and serve them with mayonnaise for dipping.
Earlier today DH and I were out taste testing some beers and split one of their brick oven pizzas. So good.
Wasn't super hungry when we got home. Just put a few pieces of chicken tenders to cook. Although Mr C had a glass of beer, I opted for, lo and behold - a bottle of water.
Homemade spaghetti, garden salad, garlic bread, and store bought pumpkin pie.
