spoiled will grill some burgers. It is hot and I hate to have him stand out in the sun but it is only a few of them so I think they will be cooked in about 10 minutes at most. I will have all the fixins ready, he will toast the buns as well. I am skipping church today so will have time to make a macaroni salad, which I only do a couple times a year. That will be our Sunday dinner.
Boy have things changed. I remember growing up every Sunday was a special dinner. Actually that was the case pretty much when our kids were growing up as well. Hamburgers were something you had on Sat, not Sunday and you never skipped church.
Chocolate fudge walnut brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce.
(I think I might gain a couple of pounds this weekend)

Tonight my brother is grilling Asian style chicken, , and grilled romaine lettuce halves with the mushroom infused soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil marinade.

We used to get in on Block Island, where my uncle’s family used to be fishermen. Auntie fried it in butter and then we slathered on Seidners mayonnaise. Yum.
Tonight I made colcannon wth kale, and corned beef. Brownies for dessert.
The Bigger Blues are better baked whole, but the 'Cocktail' size are great fried up dipped in egg and cornmeal.
a plate of Jersey Heirloom tomatoes on tge side with some kosher salt..Heaven.
I never tried the mayo thing, but I am not averse to giving it a shot. hopefully I will be getting more..
