Had the second half of a large Togo's sandwich (the first half was for lunch after a late morning walk along the coast): roast beef with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, pickles, mustard and light mayo on wheat bread. Also some watermelon slices. Drank 805 beer.
Happy 35th anniversary, sheena! Could not rep you. That sounds like it was a fun day.

Typical Sunday dinner: steak, a few scallops,, baked potato and a nice green salad or green beans; haven't quite decided on the veggie. Too bad, another Sunday that we can't grill. It is raining again!!!!Thank God for the inside electric grill
I got a 1+ pound skirt steak on sale for $5 on Friday. I'm marinating it in soy sauce, mandarin juice (from 3 tangerines), juice of one lemon, and some garlic and onion.
I'm going to grill it on the Foreman and serve as tacos with chopped white onion, salsa, hatch hot sauce, and choice of corn or flour tortilla. Guacamole if I get my act together. Wish I had limes!
made a piggy of myself with pork belly bahn mi tacos at lunch, with an ice cream chaser. I think dinner will be sliced tomatoes and corn on the cob, no butter.
Eating down the pantry and freezer again. Grilled steak with bernaisse and peaches.
