Tonight's dinner will be beef stroganoff* over egg noodles, a tossed salad, brandy slushes, and cherry pie for dessert.
*Make that Swedish meatballs instead. I thought I had a package of sirloin tips but I have ground beef and pork. I also have a jar of ligonberry preserves.
Spent the day go karting with my boys- 7, 13 and 53! We stopped by a local pub for dinner. We started with loaded potato skins. They had tomatoes, bacon, cheese and jalapenos on them. They came with a tangy sauce kind of like Russian dressing but different. I ordered the fish and chips with cole slaw. I had a Smithwick's Ale to drink.
This is tough. I haven't been cooking since my household goods haven't arrived at my new place, so I've been eating out. But, honestly, I'm getting tired of it all and really miss being able to put something together in my kitchen
I'll probably find a local Chinese food spot and get some sesame chicken and fried rice.
I am miffed and on strike, so leftovers. I'm having beer.

I brined whole chicken overnight in water, salt, sugar, a whole lemon and dash of soy sauce. Roasted it for dinner. Had it with a mix of brown rice, sauteed greens, onions, roasted carrots, lemon, capers, and loads of garlic. Red wine, of course.
Made a Korean dish tonight, Pork Bulgogi grilled marinated pork with garlic & hot chili over asian noodles with bok choy, kimchi, spices and parsley. One of our favorites ❗️
Spaghetti & meatballs with salad. Cabernet Sauvignon to drink.
