No I use Kraft cheese and genetic ham and wheat bread.
I cook it on the stove and it did not cook right.

Maybe butter the slices on the outside before cooking. I have made both white and wheat grilled cheese and works fine. The wheat is just tastes differently but the texture was the same on both. I used though the regular honey wheat bread and none of the "fancy" wheat breads.

I had MOSTACCHOLI last night made with MEDIUM CHEDDERR CHEESE instead of the cheese from Aldis (I was trying to get the same good flavour I had with velveeta (Before they went to skim milk))

It was GOOD but not exactly the same taste! -- Now I gotts find out what exact flavour velveeta was BEFORE THEY WENT SKIM MILK!

I wonder if I added WHOLE MILK to the recipe when using velveeta,if it would off set thier skim milk?? (TASTE MUCH BETTER)

Did you ever try the Aldi processed cheese slices in the cold case? I mentioned it before but in case you forgot...check it out. And make sure to get the one that is NOT wrapped in plastic. It's the dark blue shiny foil package of American sliced cheese. (unwrapped)

Default Winner, winner, chicken dinner...

I have been on a winning streak lately. I stumbled onto a recipe contest at the end of the Food Lion weekly flyer. I submitted a recipe, and won a daily drawing of a $25. gift card. Yesterday, I was told I won a second place prize, which is a $200. gift card at Kitchen Connection. A few weeks ago I won the C-D prize. I need to go buy some lottery tickets.

Just finished our major canning session yesterday and now will enjoy lots of good and healthy canned goods this winter. Tomorrow I am making some more watermellon/jalapeno jelly. If anyone want the recipe let me know. It is great on crackers with cream cheese and adds wonders to roasted chicken or pork.
