Needless to say, the Bay Area tends to have a transient nature.

I've literally seen every US plate in the city of Charlotte at some point (even Hawaii and Alaska). Ontario Canada can be seen in town quite often as well (they're usually stopping on their way to Florida). I've also seen vehicles with Mexican plates. IMO, most of the indutrialized US has folks from all over. This used to be a "big city" only thing, but as of late it's happening everywhere.
a lot of new yorkers here in nyc have nc plates . we all know why

I saw a car with a Delaware plate in the QFC parking lot by my house the other day. It was parked so crookedly that its back passenger side tire was firmly in the adjacent slot. Hope that isn't indicative of how all Delawareans park! Lol

Can't tell "out of towners" by state plates unless it has the county labeled...And it doesn't in NC. So I'll go with "out of state" plates.

Charlotte - SC plates...Mecklenburg does share a border with one of the larger counties in the metro area. York County, SC....
