Greenville's Mimi Cafe location has been removed from their website: Mimi Cafe locations
A post on another site said employees came to work like normal, and were told to go home, that the location was closed, effective immediately. No notice.

I wonder if the Greenville location's closing is isolated, or if additional locations in other states have closed.
Mimi's Cafe was once owned by Bob Evans Restaurants, which experienced financial difficulty nearly a decade ago.
looks like chick fil a on woodruff road will be closed for the month of august for remodeling. Also it looks like bonefish is doing some sort of remodel process. Hopefully the mcdonalds at sc 14/woodruff can get an exterior remodel.
WYFF reporting 700 total Duncan and Greenville jobs relocating to Charlotte at Sealed Air. Not a good day.

Sealed Air / Cryovac has been a large employer in the area for YEARS. They have multiple facilities in the area including one near Simpsonville. Serious blow.

I second the bummer. Took my wife and mother-in-law there every year for Mother's Day. Was one of the few places you could get a reservation and not be too expensive.
Food and service was always good there. Feel bad for the employees when a place closes with no notice.

About 600 of the positions in Duncan are managerial, research and development, HR, communications and finance. The positions in Greenville are in customer service. There will be no Sealed Air employees left in Greenville. The Duncan facility will still have about 200 workers.
