The former Rite Aid was demolished within the past three weeks. A QuikTrip coming soon sign is visible on US-29.

Pizza Hut did well at this location until leaving in late 2010/early 2011. I know Pepperoni Express does some business, but it does not hurt to enjoy stuff crust pizza in Lyman.
Santorini closed abruptly over two weeks ago.

Big Daddy's has closed its Spartanburg location on Asheville Highway. Its Inman location remains open for business. (Their burgers and cheese fries are delicious.)

Ferrell automotive dealerships on Asheville Highway are now Benson Kia and Chevrolet of Spartanburg.

Willy Taco (East Main Street - former location of Five Spices Indian and most recently Lawson's Fork) has completed it's renovations and had some sort of soft opening on Saturday night - the place was packed. I'm assuming it was some sort of invitation-only event as I can't find anything out about it on a web search or on Facebook. Reallly looking forward to seeing what this place will offer on Mexican cuisine.

There is some activity occurring at 2417 Reidville Road, previously occupied by TCBY and Hub City Coffee.

I do not know if Subway may be relocating from Oak Forest Plaza. That retail center has several prominent spaces for lease. I do knot know if Publix may be looking at the site for a future store.

Dunkin Donuts is returning to Spartanburg on Reidville Road in front of BI-LO. I hear they'll be adding other locations in Spartanburg as well.

They opened several locations quickly. Two in Boiling Springs and Lyman shuttered quickly. Careful planning next time may help future locations stay in business longer.
