Don't give up on the Devils; Parise and Elias looked great in a losing effort; Kovalchuk needs to be a bit more involved...

Kovalchuk is allegedly ailing from a lower back injury (according to the New York Times hockey blog).

thanks Bondu...I guess that helps explain how quiet he's been. Looks like Philly pulled Bryz too early tonight. I think the Blues will win a game....if that defenseman comes back.

Who were those players in orange on the ice last night? And what did they do with the Flyers? Sheesh!

yeah I don't know what shocked me more, the Blues losing so bad or the Flyers!

WHAT THE F___ just happened with Nashville, calling goal #3 no goal? The stupid ref lost sight of it, blew the whistle AFTER it went in the net, and the call on the ice stands? How does that make any sense???????

I'm digging this Washington/NY overtime; I'm almost as excited as Mike Emrick.

ETA: By God, Dale Hunter does look like Boris Yeltsin!

I'd say the Flyers. With any luck, the Kings will have a 3-0 series lead by midnight tonight on the west coast.
