I really hope this guy turns out to sea. We've had so much rain/flooding lately we can't handle more. Never mind the wind, tidal surge, and other risks.
New updates past few hours indicating thats the case
They r shifting east with the track.
This may be another Hermine. (Lots of anticipation but little/no effects)
And....satellite had a glitch...lost birds eye view for now...hopefully back up soon...
US evacuating 700 from Naval Station (NS) Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Florida ahead of storm. Essential personal will remain to run things and for anticipated cleanup operations.
Not surprised the GFS trended East again and doesn't effect anyone. (but still gives some rain to New England)
Surprised about the Canadian trending way East and way OTS not affecting anyone.
Surprised about the Euro getting so close to NC to affect them with strong winds and rain. Also looks like it wants to curve back north on the last frame.
Look at the dates on these maps. We are still 7+ days away from even getting to Latitude 40N! So nothing is a lock... just look for the trends and possibilities for now.
As you said Cam still 7 days away , think it is within reasonable possibility it skirts OBX then up east coast into ny? Wow that would suck, hard. I just hope it turns out to sea, I bet many people in Haiti don't even know it's coming yet....I see a catastrophe there if the east side of the storm passes through there..
