I just wanted to say, I love everything you just said, and it deserved some praise.
Personally, I take great offense at our American Flag being attacked, & the flag of another country being paraded in OUR streets,.That seems like an act of hostile invasion.

Geek, the vid started out w/ a truck driving by, waving the American flag, some guys ran up & knocked it off the truck, threw it on the ground. Then a bunch of screaming ensued, that I couldn't understand as I don't speak spanish, then a bunch of Mexican flags being paraded in the streets, again with a bunch of screaming. A lot of "you need to respect us as Mexican-Americans!!" & such.
Notice the mainstream media never refers to Mexican Nationalists as racists, racial supremacists, xenophobes, and so forth. Why is that?
