MLK seems to have become the fallback for any group that claims they are "oppressed", even when they are blatant law breakers like in this case.

You don't listen to black radio. I recall back in '06-'07 when the illegals were marching and Bush wanted to push amnesty. The callers to the Black radio stations I listened too were appalled at illegals and the thought of amnesty.

If we judge the 'content of their character', we find illegals lacking. If they had any character, they wouldn't be illegal.
People with integrity do not rely on lying, cheating, and stealing to “seek a better life.” Nor do they sponge off of others. They are hijacking the Civil Rights Movement because their “cause” lacks merit. Illegal immigration is as much a civil rights issue as bed-wetting.
