I am sad to see that those legendary Civil Rights activist would even fall into this trap. Do these people even think about how much it is going to cost to allow them to stay here and go to school? Have they cut the news on lately to see what is going on with our budget? Selfish.
Yup, these illegal alien invaders know what buttons to push to get a reaction from American media and to get sympathy from the progressive elitists.......
Please don’t delude yourself into believing black folks are not outraged when illegals dare compare themselves to the plight of black Americans. There is no similarity between the two. It is an affront for scofflaws to attach the name of Dr. King to their lawlessness. Furthermore, your quote is simply the opinion of ONE minister. He is certainly not the “black” spokesperson.
For any group to "attach" themselves to the civil rights stuggle led by Dr. King is ridiculous, but to follow the examples of "civil disbedience" and "non-violent" protest is not.

Which is fine, as long as they do it in their OWN country. I don’t recall Dr. King staging any protest marches through the streets of Mexico.

Youre exactly right...Dr. King did not march through Mexico; Niether did Gandhi.
I dont think that has much to do with the use of non-violent protest. You may wish protests to "go away", but the reality is King's and Gandhi's example is not "just gonna go away"...

But it's an insult to MLK because he did not promote the breaking of other countries laws. He never suggested that his followers sneak into other countries and demand their rights in them, they worked to improve their own country, make it a better country.
Illegals whole purpose is not to work to improve their own countries but take what they can from ours.

One can argue that illegal immigration is wrong, and that illegal aliens students protesting is wrong...but to say that the adoption of non-violent protest is an insult to Dr.King...is at best a stretch.
Hearing and reading the words cast at Dr. King by his own countrymen is an insult. To be Assinated in the country we worked to change is an insult...

The illegals' protests have violence in them, they make plenty of threats.
They are insulting MLK when they imply he was in favor of breaking immigration laws of ours or other countries. He had nothing to do with their illegal case.
They are dishonest to an extreme when they do this, they are better using Che Guevara or Fidel Castro even if they didn't have to do with illegal immigration. Or why don't they just use Vicente Fox as their leader?

You completely miss the point. What many of us find objectionable is not just their methods but their implications. By comparing themselves to Martin Luther King, these criminals implicitly imply that those of who oppose them are motivated by nothing more than simple racism.
That's a disgusting analogy. Our laws on immigration are not like the laws that forced people to accept inferior status merely because of the color of their skin.
Our laws on immigration are just and reasonable. Asking people to wait their turn, learn the dominant language, migrate here with permission, refrain from demanding access to services they have not paid into and work for change in their own countries rather asking for handouts from American taxpayers is hardly the same thing as forcing people to drink from drink from seperate water fountains or accept inferior schooling merely because of their skin color.
The use of such analogies continues to greatly offend many Americans. And rightfully so. Illegals know they can't win on the facts. They know America has no need for massive numbers of low skilled migrants from a single ethnic group who add nothing to the tax base. Instead they resort to illogical and ultimately profoundly offensive name calling. That's no way to win an argument.
