The 2010 census hasn't put up any breakdown of median/average incomes and education yet, though I'm sure its either whites or Asians at the top. The closest right now is going by owner and renter occupied comparisons, though not always an indicator of wealth. White non latinos are the only major group in Chicago proper with an home-ownership plurality(53.7%).

I mean in relation to their birth rates. Usually birth rates are inversely correlated with socioeconomic status. I'd like to see a comparison of birth rates amongst people's of similar socioeconomic status.

You're preaching to the choir man. That law was not intended to be abused the way it is.

There are some interesting data on the new factfinder by the census about household sizes.

For example, The average household size with a Hispanic householder in Chicago is 3.6, it bumps up to 4 for owner occupied. Whites(non latino) have the lowest household size with slightly under 2. No wonder why non-latino white kids only make up 9% of CPS when 31% of Chicago is white non latino. And only 13.5% of white Chicagoans living in a household are under 18 compare to 32% for Hispanics(42% of CPS in 2010)
And welfare offices would be emptied.

The biggest problem with immigrant hispanics is their third world birth rates. In part because giving birth brings in all kinds of food stamps, WIC, government housing and much more, but also because it's their culture to have many children they cannot afford, that's the reason they leave their homeland in the first place.

In those households with under 18 years of age kids, many of those kids are also parents. It's not just their sky-high birthrates, it's the very young age that they start having children -- an American woman might be having her first child at age 30 but the hispanic immigrant is already a grandmother at that age, and still having babies herself while her daughters are repeating the cycle.

Third world here we come!

Teen birth rate lower than ever, but still too high - The Checkup - The Washington Post

Still, birth rates remain high among black teens (59 births per 1,000) and Hispanic teens (70.1 births per 1,000). Compare that to 25.6 births per 1,000 for white teens.

Whatever you make of all those percentages, one particularly grim fact overshadows all the rest. The 410,000 births to teen mothers in 2009 (representing 4 percent of all teenage girls) places the United States in the teen-birth stratosphere, globally speaking. According to the report, “… the teen birth rate in the United States remains six to nine times higher than in developed countries with the lowest birth rates. Even in U.S. states with the lowest rates, the teen birth rate is nearly three to five times higher than in developed countries with the lowest birth rates, and in U.S. states with the highest rates, the teen birth rate is approximately 10 to 15 times higher than in other developed countries with the lowest birth rates.â€

This will be the U.S own demise if we don't stop giving automatic citizenship to illegals.

La Raza doesn't need a civil war if they are invading on the illegal immigration front.

How many people here would think there might possibly be some racist subtext if a bunch of people started nervously handwringing in a thread about all the bad future implications of the blacks having too many babies?

But if we're talking about hispanics, meh, no problem, right? After all, mexican isn't a race!

Yeah, there is 100% for sure definitely no doubt about it overt, out in the open, unapologetic racism in this thread.

Their inability to drop their third world cultural ways, the culture of having children at age 13 or 14 has serious implications for us as a nation. The very reason they couldn't make it in their own countries, having many children they could never afford is fast becoming our problem.

Coming to "improve themselves" doesn't mean they intend to avoid having babies they can't afford, but means a very improved standard of living on food stamps and the many welfare programs.

Only those who adore the two class culture can possibly like this, the elite who love having an unlimited servant class, only what they don't realize is that those USA born babies to illegals are not about to do the hard work for little pay like some of their parents and grandparents did for a short time.

And having many children they can never afford and starting families at age 13 or 14 is not due to their "race" but due to their culture. This is a subculture of their own countries, the middle classes of those countries does not have more children than they can afford, nor do they start having children as young teens.
