Minors can gain derivative citizenship, elderly don't have have to test in English to naturalize, U.S. citizens can return after a start of their life abroad, etc...
How many elderly are seeking citizenship?

Incorrect. US citizens in Puerto Rico cannot vote for the President. But Puerto Ricans in the mainland states can and do vote the same as any Citizen.

Doesn't make sense at all. Why should our tax dollars be wasted on those who don't learn to communicate in our language?

Correct, it all depends on whether that U.S. citizen is residing in Puerto Rico...

Doesn't change this fact:

The major differences between Puerto Rico and the 50 states are exemption from some aspects of the Internal Revenue Code, its lack of voting representation in either house of the U.S. Congress (Senate and House of Representatives), the ineligibility of Puerto Ricans to vote in presidential elections, and its lack of assignation of some revenues reserved for the states.

Puerto Rico Government

That is Puerto Rico. We were speaking of Puerto Ricans as natural born citizens who may not speak English. And who have exactly the same rights as any other US citizen.

You have no right to demand that Americans fix your problems, subsidize your immigration plans or pay for your kids to get a free college degree.

If you can't, won't or don't you have no right to complain when we demand you leave.
The problem is OUR GOVERNMENT. We practically advertise that we are open for handouts. Appafrently, the Mexicans and others south of the border who are illegally coming here have not gotten the memo that the United States is BROKE. Why? Because the Obama administration wants as many to get here as possible so that he and the democrats can have the luxury of counting on the approximately 20 milion extra votes when they end up getting amnesty and along with it....the right to vote.

It's very simple....we have no money...the illegals are putting an EXTRAORDINARY burden on our social programs. Increased costs of medicaid (that they receive free)..they are over crowding our EMERGENCY rooms at the hospitals because they go there for everything...even a common cold. So imagine what an ER is charging Medicaid for such a visit!!

So being that we are broke...what is keeping the government from STOPPING this 'INVASION'? Well...there has to be a reason wouldn't you say? Of course there is...VOTES!! Bottom line. This is amounting to a powerplay to keep the democrats in power for the next 50 years. 20 million more votes to ram their socialist ideas through...while us LEGAL citizens will be able to do nothing...short of revolution...to stop them.

This is a DANGEROUS time we live in..one that sthreatens to change our way of life forever if we don't recognize what is going on and STOP IT NOW. Getting Obama out in 2012 is key...and the next step is getting the far left wing loons out of our system of government all together. They are nothing more than communists in disguise....and they aim to bring down the United States to a 3rd world nation.

Vote AGAINST Obama in 2012!!

No...they are Puerto Ricans and US citizens. And they were Puerto Ricans and US Citizens when the lived in Puerto Rico. Now they may also be Nevadans and Puerto Ricans and US Citizens. But none of this terminates their "Puerto Rican" parameter.

Note for instance in a statehood vote Puerto Rican may be required to vote. But they may well let you vote even if you live in NY.
