And have you noticed how many pregnant girls/young women there are?? These babies will get birth-right citizenship right after birth, so no way they will send the mothers back.
Why should we bail them out. They continuously elect Democrats. Most of these cities that are in financial difficulties have Democrat mayors who tax the people and squander the collected taxes. If we bailed them out, they would just vote in the same corrupt and incompetent Democrats again and be bankrupt yet again. People get the governments they elect and should pay for their choices themselves.
Actually the option of not bailing them out is not available. The recent water fight being yet another example. The income per capita is simply too low to support the city. There is simply insufficient income to ever be able to pay sufficient taxes for the city to survive. And both the income and population continue to fall. Well over half don't pay their property taxes. Detroit can forclose but what good does that do...they end up with another piece of property that than degrades and needs to be demolished.
And 18 billion a year is not nearly enough to control the illegal alien population. Just slows growth.

I am sure they won't be especially with Obama's policy of not deporting any illegal aliens unless they are "convicted" criminals. There is a reason that their U.S. born offspring are called anchor babies.
