Typical liberal pi$$ and moan deflection.

Yes, a border wall works. Check the border that separates Israel from the West Bank. Does it stop everything? No, and neither does E-verify or aggressive prosecution of people who employ them (which I am not against).

It takes a multitude of devices to curb the many multitude of ways to prevent and deter someone from entering the country.

That being said, even if law enforcement were to aggressively prosecute those who employ people illegally it doesn't deincentivize someone from crossing the border illegally if they know that they can abuse our welfare system of entitlements (free tax payer sponsored healthcare, "free" tax payer sponsored education, free food--via SNAP programs for "anchor" babies, and free tax payer sponsored housing) for approximately 300-500k people per year.

Let's keep it real--Democrats don't want to curb illegal immigration at the border because they want to continue funneling new welfare dependents into the country. They want to grow their base with people who are overwhelmingly poor, uneducated and "disenfranchised"--the very people who they continue to pander to domestically for votes.

This. And all the lawmakers are in bed and accepting money from the world's largest corporations, many of whom employ illegal immigrants, directly or indirectly.

But it does serve as a great propaganda tool to rally his clueless base.

Really? Then why do both the Border Patrol and Homeland Security agree with him along with actual facts that the good walls in place already have been very effective in deterring illegal entry? (links posted numerous times).

People here illegally don't get welfare. If they have a child born here, the child is a citizen and the child is entitled to services. But that doesn't mean that child's parents are getting healthcare and such. Change the law that makes every person born here a citizen. That and prosecuting those who employ them would be deterrents.

But like I said, lawmakers don't really want to stop illegal immigration because our entire economic infrastructure depends on them.

No such thing as an undocumented immigrant either they are illegal aliens and there is no proof that Trump "knowingly" had any illegals working in any of his corporations. Rich people don't hire manual laborers themselves. Next.........

They have no interest in punishing employers, even states like Texas and AZ have refused to pass tough legislation on companies that hire illegal immigrants,. But they aren’t afraid of passing legislation against sanctuary cities.

Far less doable than a wall.

Of course they're going to march in lockstep with their overseers.

In a country now known for stifling free speech by the actions of a government contractor firing an employee for flipping the bird to Trump's passing motorcade while on her own time out cycling; do you really think any agent is going to be stupid enough to argue against the wall.....in public...….readily identified?

Give your head a shake. His career...union member or not, would be over in a Minnesota minute in these times of the petty vindictiveness of the guy at top.

They do it by fraud. After all they present authentic looking fake or stolen documents and SS numbers to work, don't they? If they hadn't come to our country illegally they wouldn't be giving birth on our soil, so yes their kids are a by product of illegal immigration and its cost. They over flow our ER's with their non-emergency health issues and then don't pay.

In actuality, their offspring are not citizens of our country. It's merely been a PC policy that has deemed them as such. The 14th Amendment has been misinterpreted for far to long now and needs to go to the Supreme Court for correction.

We'd do fine economically without them as we did so before they flooded our border. They actually cost us over $100 billion a year so how would their non-presence here be a detriment? They also send billions out of our country not spent in our economy. The only ones who would be crying are those who hire them and they'd have to get back to hiring Americans for a fair wage. Oh the horror!
