Shower = 10 minutes, hair = 2 minutes, grooming = 10 minutes, dressing = 8 minutes .... The positives of the job

I get to sleep until 9am on Tuesday and Thursdays

Can catch the suburban train to work and not the subway

Negatives

have to work two saturdays a month

two late nights a week....12pm to 8pm

How are the train schedules for the evenings that you have to work late? Are there other transit options if the suburban trains don't run that late?

I have to wake up early three days per week but get to sleep in until 10am on Wednesdays and Thursdays ... Fortunately, I only have to deal with city buses on those days as it is in a neighboring city. I would be limited if my suburban job required me to stay past 5pm as I'd literally would have limited means of getting home.

That isn't too bad as long as you hustle out the door at 8pm and it only takes 5 minutes to get to the train station ... Just pre-buy your ticket so you don't have to fuss around with the vending machines ...

The train runs twice an hour. How is that a problem? If you are even considering turning down a job because the trains only run twice an hour, I am befuddled as how you have a job in career counseling.

TVSG, what do you have to do your hair that takes 10 minutes? Unless you are trying to look like Donald Trump, your hair shouldn't be a big production.

There are only 2 trains in the morning that I can take for work but only 1 that would get me there on time.

I wake up earlier and make it everyday. It can be done.

Ditto ... The later train would get me to work after 10am so I have to be on the earlier train to make it into work on time.
