Yes! Yes! Yes! I just heard from Social Security, and I'm getting SSI! I'm getting $240 for the first check, then $30 a month after that. I'll also be getting full Medicaid as well. If I was living outside of St. Joseph's, I'd be getting $735. I'd love to get the full amount, but they take very good care of me here. Needless to say, I'm quite the happy camper.

Thanks, guys. I'm quite happy that I'm getting SSI. I wish that it were more, but I live by an old saying that my grandmother had. "Ask for a lot, but take what is given." There are a lot of things that I'd like to get, including books by my favorite author, Mercedes Lackey.

I never heard in my life it being under $735. Now if you worked in past at any time then I can see why they took some out but ssi standard is 735 and in NYC & CA even 835 plus.
May I know if a
