No. Just poking some fun at ElleTea. Don't take everything so seriously.

Oh, I'm fine wid it. I don't think ElleTea is, though. You probably owe her at least $5,000 in compensation for her trouble.

That's the problem with some people. They "poke fun" at people and think it's funny when most of the time it isn't funny to the person they direct it at. That is one reason I left the forum for awhile, because a few someone's kept it up and I didn't want to deal with idiocy anymore for awhile. Easier to step away for awhile then to tell people off then get banned for it. And I don't really want to block people.

Just got back from 2 days in sterile, antiseptic, ultra-conservative San Diego and the welcomed, treasured chaos, dirt, grime, graffiti and vibrant colors of Tijuana.

If you haven't been to TJ lately, they've torn up the old Border stations, and they're completely re-doing the entire crossing, so it's a bit chaotic right now. Don't like the new exit line at all, it stretches for a good mile from where the taxi leaves you off. And once out of Customs, you have this really long walk, across the freeway, to the light rail train. I complained to the Customs agent, being a senior citizen, and he jokingly remarked it was designed to get fewer people to cross the Border. But, I stocked up enough on meds to last me 2 years, so I won't have to go through it again for awhile, unless a hunger for merely spending time in TJ returns, as I love this city in its entirety! One good thing about the new crossing, it takes far less time to get thru Customs.

Also explored the Tijuana Cultural Museum (awesome place!) complete with a botanical garden, theatre, Omnimax and paintings. Also had 2 pairs of glasses made and a deep cleaning of my teeth at Washington Dental ($40) and bought some art books at Gandhi Bookstore.

Had never been to Balboa Park which has a cluster of museums there, but the Art Museum was closed on Wednesday! It was a long walk from the bus stop to the center of the Park, and when I lit up a cigarette, I was instantly scolded: No smoking within the entirety of that huge Balboa Park!

I so wish I could find something nice to say about San Diego, or want to stay there overnight, without running across the Border to TJ! 83 trips down there, since 1997, and I always flee to TJ ASAP!

Fun site, Skyscrapercity. I've let go of my membership at Photobucket but still plenty of photos to see.

This humidity is killing me. Been doing a customer car in my garage for the last couple weeks. Sweating like a pig. But making progress nonetheless.
