I suppose anybody can sue anybody, that doesn't mean they will prevail, nor does it mean they will collect anything from a settlement. Its just a lot of hot air

So, at this point, I have given you plenty of opportunity to be factually responsive and you just troll. So, that’s it hoss. Read TOS.
Then why has the homeless population blown up in only the past five years? This problem didn’t exist at this level pre 2014 or so.

If it’s rents, why did homeless exist in The large west coast cities prior to the rent increases, albeit in much lower numbers and why doesn’t it affect other cities? OC had a massive encampment and despite legal issues, cleared it out rather quickly. Burbank, Pasadena, San Fernando, and a whole bunch of other cities don’t have this homeless issue. Neither do the south la cities like Compton, Inglewood, etc. it’s City of LA and that’s it.

And barely on a tangent, same people about to lose their housing would get a second job at one of the plethora of unfilled jobs in LA until they had enough money to get out of CA for someplace where living costs are more in line with wage. Target is advertising everywhere at $13 an hour for seasonal work and they won’t get enough people at that wage. Chick fil a starts at $16.25/hr. I’ve seen gas stations advertising at $16 an hour.

Sane non drug users do anything they legally can to keep a roof over their head.

The bottom line about all this is the homeless problem is a fabricated situation, borne out by a conspiracy of socialist mayors, governors, and politically active organizations and donors. Step one was to decriminalize or non enforcement of the quality of life crimes that made Bill Bratton so effective and made NY and LA the safest big cities in the country. Step two was to create situations where the ACLU and other politically active organizations could sue the big cities. Step three was to fail to challenge said law suits to the SCOTUS. Step four was to inefficiently spend any money raised to exacerbate the situation.

Unfortunately for them, an unsympathetic President was elected, delaying their end goal of socializing all housing.

If everyone’s goal is shelter for the homeless, federal intervention should be welcome, right?

Lol we’ll see how this goes...

Read this thread. Newsom has been asking for it for months. Trump claims that the homeless problem here is of California's own doing.

Not a surprise. Another official leaving at the Trump administration's request.

Good! Trump is finally turning his attention to Ca. Of course "Ca" will probably fight everything he wants to do in multiple lawsuits so nothing will get done. How would that look to Dems if Trump saves Ca???

Wait. If memory serves me right, the Great Cheetoman sold himself to his minions by promising that he was the world’s greatest negotiator / deal-maker ... so much so that we (Americans) would “win so much we’ll get tired of winning”.

Move to a different place to be homeless? Wonderful idea, just hop on a bus and try your luck in North Dakota! Of course they probably still can't afford housing and even if they could who would rent to someone who smells bad and has no rental history? Plus they have no knowledge of the area, they don't know the safe places to sleep, they won't have any friends and they will likely freeze to death but hey, it's a cheaper place, and that's the goal, right?
