The lakers need other players to step up other than kobe! If lamar and Bynum play well we would be fine.

Looks like Brown, Fisher, and Pao got your message. Lakers advance to the second round!

Even Walton made a couple clutch shots. I honestly thought the Lakers would have beaten them by more as the Lakers had their "mission face" on.

OK, now tonight cleveland and boston. Root against cleveland so the Lakers have home court no matter who they play? It's tough to want to see boston win. Kind of like rooting for the giants or the yankees or the red sox.

So you automatically discounted the Jazz and also the SA/Phoenix winner that fast.

I wanted the Utah/Denver series to go to game seven, so Lakers (Kobe) would get some rest. I still prefer to play against the Jazz than the Nuggets, but that is a whole different story.

The Jazz are also a physical team with high foul numbers. I hope Bynum would hold up.

As far as the East, I don't have much hope for Boston, but I like them...

No, I didn't discount them. But if the Lakers get to the finals, would you rather play boston or cleveland? If boston wins we get home court against boston or Orlando (and the Lakers would be pumped to play boston for revenge two years ago) - but boston would have to beat cleveland - which means I would want bbbbboston ttttto wwwwwin....I have a very difficult time typing that.

I'm more worried about playing San Antonio in the western finals (should it end up that way). Popovich always seems to get the absolute most out of his team (I'd almost rather see him coach the Lakers.) Ginobili is a Laker killer.

Well, hopefully it is 1-0 for Lakers today against Utah.

I get cramps from SA too.

Lakers vs Magic

Once again except Magic win this year. A healthy Nelson will be the difference maker. GO MAGIC!!!
