Roger Lodge of KLLA\ 830AM says he will wake-up once the series is LA vs San Antonio [that Utah will be a boring series not even worth watching]. I disagree but do think the Lakers will win in probably 4 or 5 games.

The Spurs are about to be eliminated.

Yeah, the Spurs never maintained any lead against the Suns last night. I am rooting for San Antonio but based on past playoffs either team will be the next in line to pound the Lakers. I see the Lakers as just slightly stronger than the other Western conference teams still in the playoffs.

Interesting boston crushed cleveland. I can see boston winning two in bos. LJ may be hurt more than he's letting on. boston looked scary.

Found out Orlando would have home court against the Lakers. So, if bos plays orl, might have to root against orl.

Surprised SA lost in PHX. SA will probably take that series, they'll win game 2.

The West has been amazingly underperforming this year. Denver should have beat Utah but they have gone thru alot this year so its understandable why they didn't. For the first time in many many years, the East is better than the West. Lakers, Cavs, and Magic are the top 3 with Celtics and Hawks rounding up the top 5. The Hawks are a dangerous team to play in the playoffs. Remind me of the Bulls from a few years ago giving the Pistons alot of trouble back when the Pistons were good.

I don't think that the Utah Jazz will be pushovers. In spite of the fact that they have two of their big men injured, they will still give the Lakers some competition. Jerry Sloan always knows how to motivate his team. He's been coaching for a long time and his teams made it to the NBA Finals twice in the 1990s. I think this series will go about 6 games. I'd be surprised if it goes less than that.

I don't believe the Jazz to be pushovers either... BUT... I think they have a serious matchup problem with the Lakers in that they can't match the length of Bynum, Gasol, and Odom. Based on this, I think that if the Lakers can steal one in SLC, they win it in 5.

I say Lakers in 5, one win in SLC.

Thank god at least the free throws are going again.

The next round is going to be more difficult.

The Jazz don't have the height compared to the Lakers & will lose the series. I think there will be at least one win in Salt Lake City for the Jazz over the next 2 games. The Lakers will likely win in 5 games.
