Currently here in, Aurora, ME...30F Degrees, 29 Dew Point, Winds North 10MPH...Snowing ...Accumulation 4 Inches....
Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 7:00am Sunday morning...
The end of another 50hr work week (yes we work for Scrouge & Marley who went back to 50hr work week)! Haven't sought and purchased our Christmas Tree, yet, but hope to tomorrow...Snow arrived early this afternoon in Bangor, ME, while I was at my Hair Dressers....Continued until it began to stick around 6:00pm on Route 1, heading North, to Route 48, and finally to Route 9 (behind a snowplow, until we passed), going East - to home at Birch Meadows Farm! Love this weather (even though it didn't freeze before the snow)!

"Define cold!"

It was so cold one February that my neighbor was shoveling smoke off his chimney so the stove would draw. Yessuh, now that's cold!

Got 4 inches in The Crown, Limestone Area. First real snow of the season, usually have 2 feet on the ground right now. Guess I should remove the mower attachment and install the snowblower To answer how cold ? Got to -50 F up hear a few winters ago, usually only gets as low as -20.

When I lived in PA, I remember one year in 1982 when it didn’t go above 32F for 30 days, and reached 25F below.

I’ve only seen -18 here. Subaru started right up. But I live on the warm coast.

BTW got 5 inches last night, but a friend only 3 miles away got 12 inches. It was heavy wet snow. Snow blower went right through it like it was powder.

Some snowstorm totals from all states involved except Florida which did see snow at the panhandle.

Save this link. Updated at 9am. I see some areas of Maine got 6-8". Mostly 3-6" across the state
